Waterfall. Sheffield. May 2015.

Years of problems for the frustrated customer in Sheffield who tried to seal the waterfall with a variety of paint systems.  Fibreglass is the only long term solution for a job like this where at some points even the reinforcing mesh was exposed through the shot concrete.  A good tip on a job like this is to run the water down the waterfall and anywhere there is exposed fibreglass you can paint the fibreglass with plain yoghurt. This is a food source for lichen which will give the new grp a natural look.  Sounds unbelievable but it’s true.

Some before and after images. Work complete in less than 3 hours. The fireglass won’t need replacing in neither mine nor the customers lifetime.
